Job Title: Pathway Administration Volunteer

Position Summary

Myanmar Professional Counsellor is seeking an internal counsellor to step into the role of Clinical & Pathway Administration Officer. This part-time position is tailored for an active community member who understands the Professional Counsellor Pathway and is dedicated to upholding ethical practice, ongoing learning, and professional accountability. You will be responsible for reviewing member applications, auditing clinical and Ongoing Professional Development (OPD) logs, drafting communications, and supporting operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review incoming application forms and documentation from prospective and renewing members according to the Pathway framework.
  • Audit submitted Clinical Hours logbooks, supervision records, and OPD points for accuracy and alignment with ethical standards.
  • Gather updates, write content, and design MPC’s periodic internal and public newsletters.
  • Prepare clear correspondence and guidance for applicants regarding their submission status, missing documentation, or logbook updates.
    Commit to mandatory monthly team meetings, contributing operational insights and membership feedback.
  • Prepare agendas, take detailed meeting minutes, and track follow-up action items.
    Maintain updated digital records, member logs book, and administrative archives.
  • Assist leadership with routine administrative, documentation, and coordination tasks as needed.
  • Arrange internal and external training programs, including communication, material preparation, and session scheduling.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Internal Eligibility: Must be a current member or affiliated counsellor with Myanmar Professional Counsellor Pathway.
  • Knowledge: Direct familiarity with the Myanmar Professional Counsellor Pathway, including clinical hour logs, supervision requirements, and OPD criteria.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail (crucial for audit tasks).
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills in both English and Myanmar languages.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with remote communication tools (Zoom/Google Meet), spreadsheet tracking, and document management systems.
  • Commitment: Available to work 20 hours per week remotely and dependably attend scheduled monthly meetings.
